It's found in a pizzeria. On the corner of 9th and Fitzwater lies Angelo's, a Philly institution. With crowds and lines reaching into the hundreds on weekends, there's one thing for certain - Angelo's knows what they're doing. Their signature cheesesteak is comprised of whole muscle ribeye, laden with melted Cooper Sharp cheese, packed with fried onions, and all enveloped by a freshly-baked, sesame seed-studded roll. For many, this is the best cheesesteak in Philly. But don't sleep on the pizza - many say it rivals any top pizzeria in New York. Round pies, square pies, thin pies, thick pies, upside down pies - the list goes on. And I am honored to have been able to capture a piece of Angelo's story with none other than their owner, Danny.
